I thought it would be fun to do another animal in the style that I have recently used for my Horse series.  This one was just as enjoyable to do!

(The title is a take off on the following quote attributed to Russell Crowe 

 "There's nothing like sitting back and talking to your cows."  :)

Show at 'Manic Moon and More' Gallery

This is one corner of the room where my work was shown.  This is to the left of the entry.   I have pieces on another wall across from this too.  The Gallery is in an old Victorian House with plaster walls.  So as not to continually damage the walls the hanging system is metal chain and 'S' hooks.  I have to say it's a little hard to hang the paintings and have them lay flat so it's a 'wee bit' of a challenge, but despite that it didn't turn out too bad. 

This is another room which is just off to the right of the entry.  I apologize ~ this is a little blurry on the one side (no, it's not your eyes!) , but this is where most of the Jewelry and a lot of the smaller items are.  The Gallery has one more small room off of this and then there is even some Display space upstairs.  (The hardwood floors are beautiful!)

A BIG Apology . . .

I have been so so busy getting ready for my Show Opening this Friday night at 'Manic Moon and more' Gallery in Spokane that I've pretty much neglected my Blog . . . only to find out yesterday that this is where they have been directing all the traffic on their invitations to my show!  So, if you've been here at the site recently, I do apologize. 

But . . . at least I do have new work . . . below are two new pieces from my 'Horse Series'.  I've not done horses before.  I did one and enjoyed it so much that I wound up doing 3 more.  So, I've called this 'Horse Series No. 1' because I can see the potential out there for having fun with more of these.

Do you remember when we actually had to write that 100 times in our notebook or on the Blackboard?  Well . . . I do!   There was no such thing as 'Copy and paste' in those days!
