AND JUST WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM ...

PROBLEMS ARE NOT STOP SIGNS, THEY ARE GUIDELINES.
                          - Robert h. schuller

Neighbors of ours had a pet rooster. It recently went to Rooster Heaven.  It was the family pet for over 10 years and it even went camping with them! 💛

My friend brought this little box of mints back for me from a recent trip east. Of course, the mints were just a little side bonus. It's the box they are in that has the meaning! 😊

At the Ajo Historical Society Museum in the old St. Catherine's Indian Mission, these school rules are posted.  They're from a school in Iowa back in 1848.  I'm sorry for the glare, but I tried several different angles and this is the best shot I could get.  I would say things were VERY different back then!   Evidently 'misbehaving to girls' and 'playing cards' were both equally looked down upon.  Maybe that says a lot about why a 'Me too' movement today?  :/  Wearing long nails was itself worth 2 lashes.  Did that mean the girls weren't working hard enough at home? ?

Giving each other ill names?  I know someone who'd be in a lot of trouble for that today!

Interesting how life has changed.  I do think for the most part it's much better!

This is an old Hotel/Bar in Wallace, Idaho (currently for sale ... and it has been for a very long time).  Obviously, from the photo of the outside that you can see above, it doesn't look like anything special. The inside though is a little more interesting. The bright turquoise surrounding the mirror behind the bar is a mosaic made up entirely of tiny glass tiles.  A touch of flamboyance and color in another wise pretty non-descript room.  When you look in the mirror you can see the rest of the barroom ... rather plain.  Maybe that was the idea ... when you sat at the bar and looked in the mirror you got to be framed in diamonds and sparkles thus making you be the most important person in the room (and enjoy your bar time even more?).  O.K. Maybe that's a stretch but you have to admit, it does pull your attention that way.

And, this too, was someones dream . . .

FOR BROKEN DREAMS, THE CURE IS DREAM AGAIN ... AND DEEPER.

Not too much to see in these clouds, except maybe rain, but the Rainbow at the end of the road is certainly worth a smile . . . and a wish.
